  Did You Ever "Grieve" God's Holy Spirit?

  anytime the congregation's numbers were down or there were numerous problems in the hall, the elders would question whether anyone might've grieved the holy spirit.

  I think the elders should have examined the log in their own eye before puting the guilt trip on the congregation.They grieved my spirit regularly.

  Ocular Migraines: Anyone Have Them?

  ooooo, the sparkley colors!

  i just found out that i have migraine auras without the headache and what they are.

  it's pretty but irritating trying to read and watch tv.

  I got migraines when I lived in Texas too. It was the summer storms , they would start in the morning & build all day with the thunder clouds. If it rained they would go away, if the storm passed north or south of DFW I'd suffer all night. I'd get the auras just before the tunnel vision and thowing up started. Once we were traveling up from Big Bend and drove just ahead of a super cell all day. I was so sick, but if we stopped and the storm caught up with us as soon as the drops fell, my headache would stop.We pushed ahead all day trying to keep in front of the hail & tornadoes. Never had them after we moved.

  Going Gray...would you dare?

  i have been a blond my entire life, and am really sick of trying to maintain these locks in the champagne color family.

  my roots are now a shimmering silver and i wonder should i get it done that way.. girls what would you do?....guys can post too by the way!.

  FH, get a weave, slowly lighten the color, let the gray grow out. As the years advance you can go lighter & allow more gray, it will all seem so natural. BF

  Telly Addicts

  since leaving the borg i have becom a total telly addict......we have a tv in the living room, the bedroom and one in the office and at least one of those is on throughout the day......it doesn't stop me doing things.......it's more like background sometimes but i do find that i watch a lot more than anyone else i know.. now i'm not interested in soaps at all........i do however like series and films and although i actually hate it i will be addicted to bb now that it is on.. once i find a series i like i watch it "religiously" (haha) from beginning to end...... such as........star trek voyager, stargate sg-1, stargate atlantis, medium, supernatural, grey's anatomy, ghost whisperer, 24, west wing, chuck, csi (all 3), criminal minds, big bang theory, curb your enthusiasm, er, desperate housewives, lost, nip/tuck, house, deadliest catch, brothers and sisters, .................i could go on and on but i think you get the picture.. the thing is i make no apologies for watching so much telly......i love it after having times when i was young when my parents would put the tv away for weeks to try and encourage us to study more and spend more time playing games...... how much telly do you watch........what do you watch and why?.

  I think we watch the same amount now as when we were in the borg. When in though we watched because we were depressed and couldn't drag ourselves around to do much more. Now we watch what we are interested in. Mostly history channel, discovery, animal planet & PBS.Occassionally an old movie or newer one we wouldn't have rented. I look forward to britsh comedy on Sat.night on PBS if we aren't out or have company. My kids choices dominate evening tv hours, If I get a moment to put my feet up it's earlier or weekends & I choose CSI Las Vegas or NCIS reruns.

  I am about to block the disney channel, I don't think I can take another summer of it.

  Bithe, did you have Elizabeth's black hair to begin with? I loved her coloring.FH

  Yes , I did very, very, dark brown. Black brows & lashes. Brows are getting white steaks now. For a little while when it really got gray , I had my hair streaked with a cap like blondes do , except I dyed more dark into it.

  What was really funny , is when I let it go gray, I was mistaken for a blonde while driving. It took me a few weeks to figure out why all of a sudden I was turning mens heads , and they were checking me out . But only when I was in my truck, never when out walking.Then a girlfriend said I looked blonde when driving. LOL! It made we want to buy a redhead wig to see what that would result in.But red looks awful on me.If you're a blonde , I'd say stay that way as long as you can. A woman can always get a boost from a little drive by oggleing!

  I stopped coloring by 30 and had a nice Elizabeth Taylor salt & pepper going.

  Completely gray before 40, now at 50 a total Q-tip head.

  When I hear " Thailand or Bangkok" , I think it's fishy.

  Yeah, their there for the food & beaches!

  Sort of like I only subscribe to this magazine for the articles.

  i have just been reading another thread and thought about how importance the outward appearance is to jws.. however, god does not care for the exterior, he is concerned with what is at the core.

  inner beauty is everasting.. 1 samuel 16:7 (new international version) .

  7 but the lord said to samuel, "do not consider his appearance or his height, for i have rejected him.

  a brother toutjian gave the talk.

  it was the circuit assembly.

  I was 39. It was awful. I was not prepared for the Father, Son & org. part. I went under the water screemimg in my head "No Jehovah forgive me!!!" I have no memories of the rest of the day, I was traumatized.

  I Am So Bad~Yard Sale Experience
